DESCRIPTION: HOCAGEN TMD-91 is an
aliphatic normal alkylimidazolinium methosulfate quaternary
particularly suited for formulating fabric softeners. It is
a cationic compound, giving high softening efficiency and excellent
antistatic properties because of its substantive nature. Treated
fabrics are soft and fluffy and have good rewettability. HOCAGEN
TMD-91 gives fabric a "hand" characteristic between
that of HOCAGEN 222 and HOCAGEN 442. It reduces static cling
and wrinkling while making ironing easier. Since it is liquid
at SOT it is easier to handle than most other concentrates. |

FORMULATIONS: HOCAGEN TMD-91 based softeners for
household use can be made in a wide range of concentrations.
This product is hot recommended for concentration under 4 weight-percent
solids unless suitable dispersion stabilizers have been included. |
